The adapter kit contains the essential components required to fix the roof bars to the vehicle. The kit contains 4 rubber pads and 4 metal clamps (coated in Pebax, a special hard rubber solution).

Assemble all the components at ground level, preferably indoors! Read the instructions very carefully as the pads and clamps are often specific to Left and Right, Front bar and Rear bar.


Push a rubber pad onto each Rapid System foot
Push in the clamps very firmly until you hear a 'click'.
Check again that the clamps are properly located
Tighten the roof bars evenly until they are hand tight
Check the fitting by using the roof bars to rock the vehicle side to side
Read the instructions very carefully, paying particular attention to the maximum permitted load limit and safe driving advice!
